Makhampom warmly invites educator-artists who see their work as a tool for learning, transformation, and collective growth to join our International Residency Program in Chiang Dao, Northern Thailand.

Who are we looking for?

• Artists working in Education, theatre, dance, visual art, media, movement, ritual, or art-based facilitation
• Those with experience (or genuine interest) in working with communities, youth, and participatory learning
• People who believe that learning starts with listening, living together, and co-creation not top-down teaching
• Artists who are curious learners, compassionate listeners, and community collaborators not just performers or presenters

What will you do in this residency?

• Live and work alongside indigenous and local communities
• Co-design creative learning activities with international youth and local participants
• Practice artistic tools for listening, expression, and deep participation
• Connect with a global network of artist-educators and community changemakers
• Create shared experiences that go beyond the stage into real life

Location: Makhampom Art Space, Chiang Dao, Chiang Mai
Duration: Depending on program cycle or proposal
Working Language: English (Thai translation and team support available)
