Over the past decade, Makhampom has served as a vital creative producer, artistic incubator, and experimental platform for artists from diverse cultural and national backgrounds both in Thailand and on the international stage. Our work is grounded in the principles of socially-engaged performance, community participation, and artistic empowerment for the marginalized, including ethnic minorities, children and youth, stateless individuals, LGBTQ+ communities, and artists facing political vulnerability.

Makhampom’s artistic productions span a wide spectrum, ranging from contemporary performance, dialogue theatre, and Butoh dance, to festivals, intercultural workshops, and multimedia arts. Our works are presented across multiple contexts: in real-world locations (site-based), virtual environments, and transitional spaces, always seeking to bridge artistic expression with lived experience, transformation, and social justice.
