We design collaborative pathways that combine creative practice, cultural diversity, and participatory learning. Bringing the richness of local wisdom into dialogue with global education systems.

A Unique Learning Ecosystem in Chiang Dao

Our international work is rooted in the Chiang Dao Learning City, an innovative ecosystem of community-driven education. This initiative has been formally recognized through MOUs with the District Office of Chiang Dao and the Chiang Mai Provincial Education Office, allowing Makhampom to develop community-based and school-linked learning platforms that bridge formal, non-formal, and informal education.

This ecosystem serves as a living classroom, where international students, educators, and artists can learn alongside local youth and communities. Through this collaboration, we demonstrate how place-based learning can be scaled to global citizenship education (GCED) and cross-cultural dialogues.
